The much awaited Inter Class AlSAT Football Federation Championship came to a conclusion, when it crowned the S7 Mechanical (2013-2017 Batch) as the winners of the tournament on 19th August 2016 after a weeklong football matches through group and knockout matches in AISAT Technical Campus ground. The runners up for the tournament were S3 Mechanical (2015-2019 Batch). Rev.Dr.Clement Valuvassery,Manager,AISAT gave away the ever rolling trophy to the proud winners. Dr K.E.George,Principal,AISAT distributed the certificates to the participants of the final.Being a Sports enthusiast himself Rev.Fr.John Christopher,Assistant Manager,AISAT keenly observed all the matches in the tournament.
Individual awards were also given during the prize ceremony. The Best Goalkeeper award was grabbed by the emerging talent of AISAT Rohit CS from ME S3
And the Best Player of AFF Cup was awarded to the astonishing player of the tournament, Jobin George EEE S5. Best Refree Trophy was awarded to Mr.Samuel Sanish.
Sports is said to be a symbol of teamwork and leadership, with that aim the event organizers look forward to host the next AFF cup and Thanking the AISAT Management for all their support.
