Engineers are different, because they have to apply scientific principles for the welfare and future of the society. The engineering career demands dedication, self-confidence and team work so as to be successful as an engineer, Very.Rev.Msgr. Mathew Elanjimattom was addressing the new entrants to the engineering profession at a function “SCHOLA BREVIS-17” an induction program for engineering students of 2017 batch, organized by Albertian Institute of Science and Technology, Kalamassery at their campus.
The function was presided by Very.Rev.Msgr. Mathew Elanjimattom. In his presidential address Msgr. Mathew Elanjimattom pointed out the pitfalls present in the digital world and urged the fresher’s to keep away from such distractions and deviations. He asked the students to develop an aim and work hard to attain the aim.
Earlier, Prof. Dr. Philip Kurian, Principal, welcomed the gathering and Rev.Fr. Denny Mathew Peringatt outlined the vision and values of the institution, Dr. Babu.T.Jose Director, elaborated the need of the how to create graduate engineers and not engineering graduates, Prof.P.P Premachandran proposed the vote of thanks. The function was followed by student motivational talks by eminent personalities.
