The objective of this lab is to perform various experiments to consolidate basic knowledge in  digital electronics. Digital IC technology advances year by year at a rate which is unimaginable for other areas of technology. But the basic knowledge remains the same. Every digital system, no matter how complex it is, is built from logic gates and flip-flops. Digital Electronics Lab  provides a platform for the students to have hands on experience with digital ICs. The students will be able to have a better understanding about the concepts learned and they will gain experience in designing, testing and realizing digital circuits. The lab is equipped with digital training kits which were developed in-house.

“India is the third largest country in the field of technology inventions. Even now we are struggling against poverty and lack of jobs. Why?” Mr. C.P Philipose raised this question towards students of EEE department. It is not about education but it’s the implementation of technology we have studied. An engineer should not succeed in his life until he becomes a good entrepreneur. He shared his personal experiences in his career and problem he has faced in establishing “Sevana Electricals”.

Ms.Priya Xavier HOD, Department of EEE, welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr. Clement Valluvassery, Manager, AISAT presided over the function. Dr. K. E. George, Principal, AISAT appreciated the department of Electrical and electronics engineering for arranging an event and introducing a true entrepreneur, Mr. C.P Philipose to the young engineers in EEE department. Mr. C.P Philipose.  Assistant Manager, Rev.Fr. John Christopher delivered felicitation. Rev. Fr. Alex Kurishuparambil, Associate Manager, AISAT presented memento to the chief guest.
